Weldpad Level Gauge
We are introducing our Weld Pad Flat Level Gauge provides direct observation of liquid level in a tank/vessel under high pressure & temperature conditions. It is an instrument which is designed to be used where reflex / transparent gauge is not possible or practical to install and where there may be solids present in the liquid that would interfere with the operation of a traditional instrument.
Operation & Construction
Weld Pad gauge is designed for directly welded upon the chamber / vessel which it will be measuring the level. The base which is welded can be either flat or radius bottomed to suit the vessel configuration and the glass is reflex type.
It consists of a weld pad, reflex transparent gauge glass, sealing gasket, cushion gasket and cover plate all held together by bolts . The gauge glass sandwiched between sealing and cushion gasket.
This type of instrument being welded after delivery the unit is supplied loosely assembled; the recipient will then line up the gauge dismantle the gauge and weld the instrument body to the empty vessel.
Weld pad gauges are not pressure tested as an individual unit as the method of construction / assembly does not allow for this. The instrument should always be pressure tested by the purchaser as part of the complete system after installation & it is rated for pressure Upto 50 kg/cm2 and max temperature Upto 300°C
