RF Admittance Level Switch
The RF Admittance Level Switch is an advanced and highly dependable point level detection solution designed for accurate monitoring of bulk solids, powders, granules, slurries, and liquids. It ensures safe and uninterrupted process control by eliminating material overflow, choking, and unexpected shutdowns in storage and handling systems.
Built on proven RF admittance technology with a coat-guard principle, this level switch remains completely unaffected by material build-up, dust, moisture, vibration, or changing process conditions. With no moving mechanical parts, it delivers exceptional long-term stability, high repeatability, and virtually maintenance-free operation even in the harshest industrial environments.
Product Share on :Applications

- Power plants, steel plants, and bulk material handling systems
- Chemical, fertilizer, food, and process industries
Working Principle
The RF Admittance Level Switch operates on the principle of capacitance measurement using high frequency RF signals. When the process material comes in contact with or approaches the sensing probe or flush-mounted disc, the dielectric value surrounding the sensor changes.
This change is precisely detected by the internal electronics, which then energizes or de-energizes the output relay. The integrated coat-guard electrode eliminates false switching caused by material build-up, ensuring accurate and reliable ON/OFF level detection for both high and low-level applications.
Construction
The switch features a rugged industrial-grade construction with a cast aluminum enclosure offering IP65 protection. The sensing probe or flush-mounted electrode is manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, combined with PTFE, ceramic, or UHMWPE insulation to withstand abrasive materials, high temperatures, and corrosive environments. Integral and remote electronics options allow flexible installation for demanding process conditions.
