The Radar Level Transmitter is a non-contact type 80 GHz FMCW device designed for continuous level measurement of liquids and solids. It offers high accuracy, reliable performance and can be used in water, wastewater, chemical, food, oil, and highly corrosive or dusty media applications.

With its narrow beam angle and advanced signal processing, it ensures stable measurements even in challenging environments. The transmitter supports outputs like 4–20 mA, HART and MODBUS, making it suitable for integration with PLC, DCS or Level Indicators.

Construction & Working

The transmitter emits an 80 GHz RF signal toward the media surface. The reflected signal is received back by the sensor, and the frequency difference between transmitted and received waves is processed to calculate the level. The electronics convert this into a 4–20 mA or RS-485 MODBUS/HART output for monitoring or control.
