Working Principle
The Mini Capacitance Level Switch works on the principle of capacitance variation. The sensing probe and the metallic tank wall act as two electrodes, while the process material (solid or liquid) functions as the dielectric medium. As the material level rises or falls, the dielectric constant changes, resulting in a proportional change in capacitance.
This change is electronically detected and converted into a reliable switching signal, providing accurate ON/OFF level indication for automation and process control applications.
Construction
The switch features a robust stainless steel probe with high insulation resistance, designed for long service life in harsh industrial conditions.
