Working Principle

The Mini Capacitance Level Switch operates by forming a capacitance between the sensing probe and the metallic wall of the vessel, which together act as electrodes. The process material inside the vessel functions as the dielectric medium.

As the level of the material rises or falls, the dielectric constant changes, resulting in a corresponding change in capacitance. This variation is detected by the electronic circuit and converted into a precise switching signal to indicate the presence or absence of material at the desired level point.

Construction

The switch is built with a rugged industrial design to ensure long-term durability. The sensing probe is manufactured from high-grade stainless steel (SS304 / SS316), providing excellent resistance to corrosion and process wear.
